Dr. Heather Moellers, DDS

Heather was born in Waterloo, Iowa. Her mother is glad that she is back in Iowa and close to home. Heather is the first in her family to attend university. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in both Biology AND German at the University of Iowa. While at dental school, Heather was an over-achiever again. She graduated not only with her Doctorate in Dental Surgery, but also with a Public Health Distinction. Her emphasis on public health while in dental school helped her to earn a scholarship from the National Health Service Corps. Following graduation, Heather worked for about three years in a very remote part of far northern Wisconsin. Having endured long Wisconsin winters, she is now ready to embrace a “mild” Iowa winter again.

Dr. Eric Moellers, DDS

Eric is glad to live and work in northeast Iowa where campgrounds, hiking trails, and swift streams are abundant. He is looking forward to sharing his joy for the outdoors with his family.

Eric has a B.S. degree in biology from the University of Northern Iowa and earned his doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.

Amber Schroeder

Dental Hygienist

Amber attended Hawkeye Community College and graduated from the dental hygiene program. She joined the office in 2017.

Amber lives in Decorah with her dog, Ruby.

Lori Soukup

Dental Assistant

Lori started dental assisting in 1980 at the Lansing Dental Clinic for Bruce A. Carlson. Bruce recently retired and Lori joined the Moellers & Moellers team in May 2020.

Lori lives south of Ridgeway with her husband Larry. They have four grown children and six grandchildren. Lori enjoys spending time with family.

Danielle Van Gundy

Dental Assistant

Danielle is a Decorah native and attended University of Northern Iowa and Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) where she earned her dental assisting degree and associates. After being in dentistry for 10 years, she always finds ways to grow and learn. Danielle enjoys getting to know and learn about her patients and helping them on their journey to healthy teeth and a beautiful SMILE.

She lives in Decorah with her husband Dustin and two sons, Dakota and Daxton. Most weekends in the summer you can find Danielle living out of the camper, kayaking, hiking, and biking with the family and enjoying the great outdoors. Winter you can find Danielle racing her boys down the sledding hill, attending many school events and keeping up with her busy boys’ schedules. Oh yes, can’t forget her cute adorable pugs Ole and Sven and her cat Lena.

Sam Spilde

Dental Assistant

Sam was born and raised in Decorah, and currently lives in Waukon with her husband Hunter, and dog Colt. In her free time she enjoys walks with her dog, hiking, and kayaking in the summer.

Sam attended Rochester Community and Technical College where she earned her associates and Dental Assistant Degree. Sam looks forward to working with a variety of people and helping achieve their dental needs!

Coral Ehrhardt

Dental Hygienist

Coral’s parents and grandparents grew up in Decorah but she was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. She now lives on a farm near Volney with her husband, Mark.

In 1982 Coral attended the University of Missouri Kansas City Dental School where she received her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. For 26 years she worked in Kansas City for a periodontist (gum surgeon).

These days Coral only works part-time so she can travel and spend time with her husband and his eight grandchildren. She looks forward to providing thoughtful, high quality dental care with the team at Moellers and Moellers.

Evan Tieskoetter

Dental Hygienist

Evan was born and raised in Austin, MN. She married her husband, Shane, on Sept 13, 2008. In June 2019 Evan and her family moved to Decorah. She has two daughters (Brekyn and Kinsley) and an Australian shepherd named Copper. In her free time she enjoys biking, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Cyndi Luster

Dental Assistant

Originally from Pepin Wisconsin, but now residing in Harpers Ferry Iowa- Cyndi Graduated from Kirkwood Community College in 1984 with an Associate of Applied Science degree and a Diploma in Dental Assisting. This is a career she enjoyed for 16 years and after a lapse, she has come back and joins us at Moellers and Moellers Family Dentistry. She really likes helping people become comfortable with their dental care and not ever be embarrassed or afraid to come in!

Cyndi has 3 grown children, Chris, Bethany, and Max, and 5 grandchildren. She loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys sunny days on the Mississippi river whenever possible!

Pam Herman

Front Office Coordinator 

Pam is a Lansing native who attended Northeast Iowa Community College in the business clinical program.

She worked in the medical world for 36 years before deciding to take a new adventure in the dental field here with us at Moellers and Moellers Family Dentistry. She really enjoys learning new things every day at work and getting to know all of our great patients.

Pam has three grown children and three grandchildren and lives with her sweet dog Bentley in Lansing. She loves spending her weekends and days off hiking, biking, boating, traveling, or just enjoying time with her family and friends!

Kathy McMillan

Dental Assistant

Kathy is a registered dental assistant with many years of experience. She joined the Dr. Moellers team in December of 2022, filling in part-time wherever she is needed.

She lives in Waukon and is married to her husband Patrick. They have two children, Morgan and Mason. She enjoys golfing, boating, and being with family and friends.

Mattie Weymiller

Front Desk Coordinator 

Mattie was born and raised around the New Albin area on her family’s farm, a few miles out of town. She now resides just outside of Lansing with her fiancé, Hunter, and their Golden Retriever, Elly. In her free-time, Mattie enjoys being on the river with her friends, taking walks around town with Elly, and helping on the family farm.

Mattie looks forward to learning more about the world of dentistry and meeting all your smiling faces!

Shelby Wyninger

Dental Assistant

Shelby currently lives in Waukon, IA with her boyfriend and dog. She has been an assistant for a year and loves interacting with patients and learning new things. When she isn’t here at Moellers & Moellers she also works part-time with an oral surgeon. In her free time, she loves to go for walks, relax, and travel.
